Cookie policy
Cookies are small files that the website stores in your browser to remember preferences, maintain functions and obtain information about usage. This policy explains which cookies we use and how you can manage them. You can accept, reject or configure them from the "Manage consent" panel in the footer.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a server stores in the user’s browser to collect registration and visitor behaviour information. They help the site work efficiently and analyse, anonymously, how it is used.
2. How consent is managed
This website requests consent before installing statistics or marketing cookies. On your first visit a notice is shown with the options "Accept", "Reject" and "Settings"; from "Settings" you can choose by category in the "Manage consent" window, which you can return to at any time from the footer.
We only install statistics or marketing cookies if you expressly accept them: carrying on browsing without choosing is not considered consent. You can change your choice at any time, in accordance with article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI-CE) and the GDPR.
3. Cookies we use
The following table details the third-party cookies. Statistics and marketing cookies are only installed if you give your consent. Stripe cookies are functional: they are installed when the shop loads because they are necessary for secure payment and fraud prevention, so they do not require consent:
| Cookie | Provider | Duration | Purpose | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | 2 years | Distinguish users and sessions | Statistics |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | 2 years | Maintain session state | Statistics |
| _gid | Google Analytics | 24 hours | Distinguish users | Statistics |
| _gat_<ID> | Google Analytics | 1 minute | Limit request rate | Statistics |
| _gcl_* | Google Ads / Merchant Center | 90 days | Conversions and remarketing | Marketing |
| _gads | Google Ads | 13 months | Conversion and campaign tracking | Marketing |
| __stripe_mid | Stripe | 1 year | Fraud prevention and payment security | Functional |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe | 30 minutes | Fraud prevention and payment security | Functional |
| m | Stripe (m.stripe.com) | 400 days | Fraud prevention and payment security | Functional |
4. Cookie categories
- Functional: strictly necessary for the shop to work (checkout process, remembering the consent notice and the language). They do not require consent.
- Preferences: remember information such as language or shipping country to improve the experience.
- Statistics: allow anonymous analysis of the use of the website (Google Analytics 4) to improve it.
- Marketing: allow us to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns on Google (Google Ads and Google Merchant Center), for example which ad led to a purchase. This website does not display advertising.
- Sales measurement: if you have accepted statistics cookies, when a purchase is completed our server sends Google Analytics and Google Ads the order number, amount and products, linked to the identifiers of the Google cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>), in order to know which campaign led to the sale. If you have also accepted marketing cookies, Google may use this data for its advertising. If you reject them, no purchase data is sent.
